How can i permantley remove finger warts?
amazin' asked:
I been to the Dermotoligist 4 times for the same warts. He freezes them with liquid nitrogen, but they still come back. Is there any other method, or pills, that can make these warts go away for good?

They have medicated bandaides for warts, and they work for me, but I would suggest freezing them off. If that doesn't work, which I guess for you it doesn't, then I don't know what else to suggest.
Compound W. Available at any pharmacy.
Try a scalpel. The key is to cut deep.
Try one of the over the counter wart removers. I understand that they work well.
Duct tape.
Don't laugh, they've studied it: In patients treated with duct tape, 85 percent of the warts completely resolved, compared with 60 percent in the cryotherapy group.
I tried getting them frozen off. It never seemed to work on all of them. I also tried the Dr. Sholls freeze-away, which is supposedly the same process the doctors use, but it literally did nothing.
What's never let me down are the bandages that have an inside that is medicated. It has never failed me at removing warts. Good luck.
Also, my doctors have told me that using wooden pencils can spread warts. Try using the mechanical ones and not sharing them with friends, or disinfecting them routinely.
put duct tape on it (like a bandaid) over a couple of weeks its supposed to get rid of it. I guess it works by irritating the skin enough to where the body sends massive amounts of white cells to destroy the irritation. my boss swears it works, but the tape looks like hell and didn't match anything in her closet
I had trouble getting rid of one did all the home remedies, didn't work so I went to the doctor and he burned off, it never came back…Good luck!!!
I used to have trouble with warts when I was young .I used compound W and it worked .It took a week or so to completely clear then they disappeared . Haven't had any since ( maybe in the last 35 years)
You get common warts through direct contact with the human papillomavirus (HPV). Like other infectious diseases, wart viruses pass from person to person. You can also get the wart virus by touching a towel or object used by someone who has the virus. Each person's immune system responds to warts differently, meaning not everyone who comes in contact with HPV develops warts. Some types of warts — such as genital warts — are quite contagious, but the chance of catching common warts from another person is small.
If you have warts, you can spread the virus to other places on your own body. Warts usually spread through breaks in your skin, such as a hangnail or scrape. Biting your nails can also cause warts to spread on your fingertips and around your nails.
Freezing normally works but it sounds like you have some stubborn warts. Have your doc cut them out. The roots apparently go deeper than the freezing can get to.
I have heard the duct tape theory and it works pretty good. I also read taking beta-carotene orally and also taking a gel tab of beta-carotene, cutting it open and putting it on the wart itself helps. Not sure how effective it is though.
