What is the quickest way to get rid of warts?
PW asked:
It is just a few little warts on my hand. I've frozen them off before but that makes the whole area look horrible for like a month before they come off. Are there any creams or anything that has worked for you?

why don't you just have them cut out it isn't to bad.
Honestly, I took a knife to mine. It was big, I was sick of it, so I ripped it off.
… I don't recommend it.
There are over the counter salicylic acid wart removers that can work, but all destroy the wart and it will look kind of funky for awhile. Having a doctor do the removing may minimize the time and the bad appearance.
If you do it yourself, be very careful not to get the product on any normal skin. Wash the area well and scrub off any superficial loose skin before applying the remover and follow instructions carefully.
You can use dry ice to remove superficial warts as well, but this requires extreme care and careful handling. I wouldn't recommend this for do it yourself.
Many small warts will simply disappear with time anyway.
i tried filing them with a nail filer then then continously pressing it with alchohol pads.
Well I read some testimonies from different people that they put
Duck tape over it for a few days and it disappeared.
I myself had one that appeared on the side of my nose, and I have been using the Derma Wand on my face and am on a supplement and just now realized that it is gone! Thank God!
I do not know when it disappeared.
* Cryosurgery - freezing - will scar and they may grow back
* Electrocautery - burning - will scar and they may grow back
* Prescription medications - warts may grow back - be careful of dosage, some require professional application
* Natural medications see a comparison chart here , no scarring, but can take longer than the immediate possiblities above.
best wishes with getting rid of them! I had some on my hand too years ago and also had them frrozen off, and i still have the scars. i definitely don't recommend cryosurgery!
