How long after clearing up genital warts is it ok to have sex?

I just found out today that I have genital warts for the first time. I have only slept with 2 people and I'm rather careful so this came to me as a big shock. I also may have cervical cancer. I just started treatment, but I want to know how long to wait before becoming sexually active again. Even after they clear, can I spread them to others? I have so many questions and I really didn't get any answers from my doctor.

when i found out i had hpv i asked my doc if i should tell my man and they said no….what i was told i that even after cryotherapy this virus will be in your system 4ever and even with the warts gone u can still pass this virus on to someone else

Hi well I would be seeking answers from ur doctor coz normally u wait until medication course is completed then a week or so.
Whilst medication ceases activity there is no surety that u will not infect partner OK ♥
